Middleton, WI (August 2002)—Following the premiere this May of her animated series on PBS KIDS, Angelina Ballerina™, the little mouse who dreams of center stage, will star in Angelina and Henry, a brave new adventure from American Girl debuting this August. To expand awareness among Angelina's growing audience of young readers, American Girl will also introduce a variety of Angelina-inspired board books, activity titles, stationery, and games this fall. Created by award-winning author Katharine Holabird and illustrator Helen Craig, the Angelina Ballerina series has sold over 4.2 million copies worldwide, and continues to encourage fantasy play among girls ages 3 to 7 while teaching positive, traditional values.
