—Popular Musical Ends its Run This September—
Middleton, WI (June 2001)— Calling all American Girl fans! This summer is the last chance to see The American Girls Revue, the phenomenally successful live musical inspired by the beloved characters and stories of The American Girls Collection®. The show, written by Broadway playwrights, Gretchen Cryer and Nancy Ford, will end its run on September 3, 2001. Performed in the 150-seat Theater at American Girl Place®, the one-hour musical celebrates girlhood—yesterday and today—with its gentle life lessons of courage, friendship, and hope for the future. Over 190,000 theater-goers have attended The American Girls Revue since the show debuted in November 1998.
